Everyone who wants to has the opportunity to perform at Abingdon Prep. In a typical school year there are seven productions across all age groups. These range from the Pre-Prep Nativity to the Senior Section performing a musical or play which is staged at Abingdon School\u2019s Amey Theatre with a full cast and musicians.<\/span><\/p>\n

Recent productions have included\u00a0Smike<\/em>,\u00a0Joseph,<\/em>\u00a0Oliver!<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Animal Farm\u00a0<\/em>in the Senior Section,\u00a0Daniel and the Lions\u2019 Den\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Dragon Days<\/em> in the Middle Section and A Miracle in Town<\/em> for Pre-Prep. The Middle Section also enjoys soirees based around drama and music, exploring performance poetry, Shakespeare and comedy sketches.<\/p>\n

Pupils from Reception to Year 6 are also taught drama as part of the\u00a0academic curriculum<\/a>\u00a0and senior pupils have weekly performing arts lessons combining music and drama.<\/p>\n
