The Headmaster, Craig Williams, greeted the boys as they returned to school or joined Abingdon Prep for the first time. Craig said,
“It was lovely to see so many happy faces coming into school this morning. There was the usual array of kit bags and instruments adorning shoulders and plenty of chatting about holidays and summer adventures. We welcome 34 new pupils to Abingdon Prep and 5 new members of staff.
My first assembly focused on creating lifelong memories and I had even managed to find a photo of my time at prep school which I shared with the boys.
The start of a new academic year is always so exciting and I know that our boys will grab the opportunities on offer to them with both hands. Our Other Half program has started today with orchestra, chess, coding, rock school production, life skills, archery, hockey and rugby all taking place. There is never a dull moment at Abingdon Prep!”
