On a bitterly cold day at Oxford Hawks Hockey Club APS U11s competed in the county In2Hockey tournament. With just a couple of practice sessions under our belts, it was always going to be a tall order but with a resolute defence in the form of Tom and Sammy and our goalkeepers Ollie and Fabian, we did not concede a single goal until the final match. This meant that, having had two extremely close matches with St Hugh's and New College in which we drew, then beating St Andrew's and Windmill, we were fighting it out with MCS for first place in the final game. A strong MCS side dominated possession but it was not until 4 minutes from time that we finally conceded and lost a very competitive match. Great credit goes to all the boys for playing so well in their first experience of tournament hockey and enjoying it so much.

Results:
St Hugh's Drew 0-0
New College Drew 0-0
St Andrew's Primary Won 2-0
Windmill Primary Won 1-0
MCS Lost 0-2

3rd Place Overall
