On Friday over 120 grandparents arrived at Abingdon Prep to enjoy an afternoon of entertainment from their grandsons.
The visitors were escorted to classrooms where they were greeted by their grandsons who had their books ready to show them.
The boys eagerly demonstrated the lovely work they have done this year, sharing with them special pieces they were really proud of.
Following this the visitors were given a guided tour of the school by their grandsons. The tour ended in the main hall where a delicious cream tea awaited them.
As they tucked into the tasty tea they were entertained with music and poetry recitals from the boys. The afternoon was a great success and thoroughly enjoyed by all.
