Over 130 grandparents arrived at Abingdon Prep School to enjoy an afternoon of entertainment from their grandsons. On arrival, the grandparents were escorted to the classrooms where they were greeted by the boys who had their books ready to show them. They eagerly demonstrated all the lovely work that they have done this year, sharing special pieces they were really proud of.
After this they were given a guided tour of the school by their grandsons. The tour ended in the main hall where a delicious cream tea awaited. As grandparents tucked into the tasty tea they enjoyed musical entertainment as well as poetry recitals from the boys.The afternoon was a great success and thoroughly enjoyed by all.
