A group of 20 Year 7 and 8 boys all enjoyed a warm weather cricket training camp at Desert Springs Resort in Murcia, Spain towards the end of the Easter holiday. The resort was used by England to prepare for the 2014 Ashes Tour and the facilities did not disappoint. Grass net practice in the mornings followed by limited over matches in the afternoon provided the boys with the opportunity to practise and hone their technique earlier in the season than normal. As the days progressed all of the boys improved immeasurably.

Following a full day of cricket the boys relished the opportunity to cool down in the pool and to socialise at supper in the evening.

Good luck to the senior boys for the forthcoming season!
