On Saturday our lower school rugby players had the opportunity to go on a ‘Parent/Son’ trip to watch England v Samoa. The morning started early with two coaches of parents and pupils heading over to the RGS Guildford to play U12 A & B and U13 A & B matches. Some excellent games between the two schools were supported well by parents who were going on the trip with their sons in the afternoon. Post match, over 40 parents and 40 pupils from the 1st and 2nd Years along with staff got back on the coaches and headed to the Home of Rugby, Twickenham Stadium. There were plenty of fabulous memories made with England winning 48-14 against Samoa. A wonderful atmosphere with over 80,000 people in the stadium, pre-match fireworks, national anthems, Hakas, and some excellent tries. Particular thanks to our parent committee ‘The Touchliners’ who supported the day. Our end of season Lower School awards evening is on Wednesday 13 December. To sign up please click here.
