Oxfordshire Open Shooting Competition

On Sunday Abingdon School Rifle Club took part in the annual Oxfordshire Open Shooting Competition. This event sees all the rifle clubs in Oxfordshire take part and compete for various prizes.

ASRC took eight boys and two members of staff to compete and nearly everyone achieved a personal best.  

Particular congratulations go to Marius Williamson (2nd year) for winning D Class with a score of 726/800, Charles Symonds (4th year) for 3rd in D Class with a score of 722/800, narrowly pipping Mr Johnson by only 1 point!  Mr Smith performed to his usual high standards scoring 772/800, coming 3rd in A Class and winning the Veteran trophy.
