The Biology department has procured a new Nosy Mitsio Panther Chameleon, Furcifer pardalis. Currently 7 months old this chameleon should grow to about 30cm in length. Native to the island of Nosy Mitsio in Madagascar this reptile feeds by shooting out its specially adapted tongue that can catch food up to 20cm away from it's mouth.
