The sailing team recently competed at Weymouth in the National Schools’ Sailing match racing competition. The event took place in the Elliott boats used in the 2012 Olympics. Due to a lack of wind, racing was postponed on the first day and so the results of the entire competition depended on racing on the Sunday. The team did well, comfortably winning their first four races. Unfortunately, after leading the overall winning boat around the windward mark on the next race, a tangled spinnaker led to them losing the race and being placed third overall.
