Last Saturday morning the Fencing Club hosted the second year of the Lower School Fencing Tournament in the Charles Maude Room. It's a high point for the otherwise quiet summer term for the Club and gives our young fencers a chance to showcase their new skills and experience a tournament-style competition.

After hard fought poule and knockout rounds, the last match between Archie Wood (2P) and Ben MacLennan (2C) was an exciting finale with Ben emerging triumphant with score of 10/8. Mr Jenkins kindly supported and was able to present Ben with his trophy at Lower School assembly.

Alan Knowles, the lower school coach, was delighted with the competition and impressed with the skill and determination shown by all of the competitors.
