The Headmaster, Michael Windsor, and his wife, Shanti, were delighted to invite all those who support Abingdon School in a variety of ways to a summer garden party in Lacies Court Garden to thank them. Volunteers from across the school were invited including members of the FASBC, the Secondhand Uniform Shop, Abingdon School in Partnership, the 1563 Society and many more.
The event, in its second year, has doubled in size as we welcomed over 200 guests. We enjoyed Pimm's and canapes in the beautiful surroundings of Lacies Court, bathed in glorious summer sunshine. The Headmaster used the opportunity to personally thank his guests for all the time and resources they continue to give – Abingdon School would not be the school it is today without the support of these people and many more.
Following the reception, guests were invited to Abingdon’s First Orchestra and Big Band summer concert in the Amey Theatre. This was their final performance before departing on tour to Japan and Hong Kong.
