A group of Lower School boys travelled to Cheney School in Oxford to visit the Iris Festival of Imagined Worlds. As well as hearing talks from best-selling children's authors Alan Gibbons and Angie Sage, they had time to visit a range of stalls connected with the worlds of J K Rowling, where they were put in to houses by the Sorting Hat, and J R R Tolkien, where they could learn more about the real history that inspired The Lord of the Rings.
