Abingdon has beaten Radley in the first rounds of both the ISGA singles and HMC foursomes golf competitions. Harry Gale was a convincing winner in the singles, whilst Josh Roche lost narrowly. Jake Blackwell (playing with borrowed clubs) secured the win by holding his nerve on the 18th. All three pairs won their matches in the foursomes, with Max Struthers and Nick Owen securing victory on the last hole. These victories bode well for the year and see us progress into the second round in both competitions.
