Speaking about the 2018 GCSE results, the Headmaster, Michael Windsor, said:

“This is another excellent set of results following the A levels last week. Half of the year group gained all their GCSE passes at grade A* or A, or the equivalent grades 7-9. I would like to congratulate all the boys and staff on achieving these impressive results.

Particularly pleasing is the breadth of subjects in which the boys performed well. English Language passes were at 92% A*/A and English Literature at 87% A*/A, and Maths passes at grades 7-9 (A*/A equivalent) were 87%.

Chemistry, Physics and Mandarin all recorded over 90% A*/A with Electronics a very strong 100% A*/A. All those taking Greek also gained 100% passes at grades 8/9 (A* equivalent).

These results represent a lot of hard work from boys and their teachers, they are very well deserved and an excellent foundation for further study. I look forward to welcoming the boys back to school where they will be the first to enjoy our new sixth form facilities opening in September.”
