Sixth former Charlie Atkinson has been selected for the England Rugby U18s tour of South Africa this summer. This is a massive achievement and we congratulate Charlie on all the hard work he has put in to get himself to this position. Charlie joined Abingdon in the First Year and in recent years has been part of the Wasps Academy. The England squad play three matches against Argentina (9 August), France (13 August) and South Africa Schools (17 August). Based at Stellenbosch Academy of Sport, the squad flew to South Africa on 4 August for the annual development tour which marks the start of the U18 international season and for many players the start of their England journey. We wish Charlie all the very best of luck with what will be an incredible experience.
