On a rain-affected day's cricket, only the matches away at Cheltenham reached completion, although most of the Abingdon sides at home were well placed before the rain put paid to the proceedings.

The 1st XI lost the toss and started the game in the field. After a testing start and the need to use 4 bowlers inside the first 4 overs, due to injuries, the game was well poised at lunch with Cheltenham 150 for the loss of 4 wickets. Some tight bowling in the middle part of the innings from Oscar Fountain, Will Webb, Hector Chambers and Harvey Jupp meant a constant flow of wickets, eventually dismissing the hosts for 195, with Jupp taking 4 wickets.

Following a solid opening partnership between Max Owen and Freddie Smith, the Abingdon side lost two quick wickets just before tea, but still looked well-poised on 100 for 2. Unfortunately, a flurry of wickets post tea saw the Abingdon side bowled out for 147.

The U15A side got off to a fantastic start with the ball, having their opponents 8 wickets down for under 50. A rearguard partnership from the tail end batsmen saw them get to 107 all out. However, 50no for Liam Hilditch and 37no for George Siriwardene completed a comfortable victory for the loss of just 1 wicket.

On the adjoining pitch, the U15Bs made a great effort of chasing a challenging total of 188, falling 26 runs short on 162. The U15Cs were involved in a magnificent game that went to the final over, clinching a thriller to win by 2 wickets, having chased down 186. Krishan Handa made a powerful 44 and Max Williams an excellent 35.

The final fixture to reach a conclusion was the 3rd XI match at Cheltenham. Fresh from a wonderful performance the previous week versus Warwick, the Abingdon boys struggled to chase an excellent 215 posted by their opponents. Zach Griggs bowled well up front and Will Atkinson took excellent figures of 4 for 44, but the response never got going, falling to 90 all out.

The remaining scores for the abandoned matches at home:
