Over half term seven boys and two teachers went on an action-packed, educational 10-day trip to Beijing and Xi’an.
Pupils had a fantastic opportunity to improve their command of the language and also their cultural knowledge of China through a wide variety of educational, cultural, social and outdoor activities.
These included seeing the “unmissable” attractions of Beijing and Xi’an, taking part in a ‘day in the life’ of Beijing No. 9 Middle School, visiting pandas in their home country, learning the art of Kung Fu (Chinese Martial arts) and many other cultural activities.
Towards the end, all of the boys felt that the trip could go on for another 3-4 days to visit more places, which best sums-up their fond experience of this trip.
