On Wednesday our U12 and U13 VIIs squads took part in the prestigious Caldicott Prep School Rugby Sevens Festival.
Our U12s improved immensely over the day finishing with a strong win, but most importantly the squad really started to understand the basic attacking and defensive principles of sevens. Looking ahead our U12s finish the Sevens season with a festival at Moulsford Prep School on Sunday 18 March.
Our U13s lost their first match narrowly, but won all their other five matches. The improvement in performance and the style of play was superb to watch, with some terrific team effort and some wonderful scores. The boys have learned that possession is key and their support play was wonderful to watch. This Sunday our U13 VII take part in the Berkhamsted School festival.
