On Sunday the snow melted which meant the planned trip to London for 48 boys and 4 staff of the Abingdon boarding community could go ahead. The group left school in the morning and headed straight to the London Eye to see some spectacular views all across the city. Many of the boys were familiar with London and pointed out all of the landmarks from the pod.

After the trip the boys walked along the Southbank towards the Tate Modern where they witnessed a number of acts and buskers which gave the group a real flavour of such a vibrant city. Once we arrived at the Tate Modern the boys were given some free time to explore and most sampled the local cuisine or headed to the shops for some retail therapy.

A great day was had by all, the boys were fantastic ambassadors for their houses and the school.
