The new boarders went on an orientation walk around Abingdon last weekend. They went to Abbey Meadows, next to the River Thames, to see where the original abbey that gives Abingdon its name used to be, before visiting the original site of Abingdon School before it moved to its present location 150 years ago. They then had some free time to explore the shops and cafes of the town centre.
