Be the Best You Can Be Programme
The Be the Best You Can Be programme was set up to create a lasting educational legacy from the London 2012 Olympics and has as one of its founders, David Hemery, Olympic gold medalist and Life Vice Chair of the British Olympic Association. Its aim is to inspire, engage and empower young people to follow their own dreams, in whatever field they choose, to help them to become more self-aware and self-responsible, to learn how to become more resilient and how to handle failure, and develop skills that will help them coach each other and themselves to success. Lower School boys have a Be the Best You Can Be lesson with their tutors once a fortnight to discuss these ideas and hear from several inspiring outside speakers over the course of each year.
