On Sunday Craighouse School from Chile came to Abingdon to enjoy two nights hosted by our current fifth form and lower sixth pupils who are heading on the Senior Rugby tour to Chile and Argentina next summer.
Our families hosted over 40 pupils, both boys and girls from Sunday afternoon to Tuesday morning. On Monday the Craighouse girls played Headington at Tilsley in a hockey fixture and the Craighouse boys played against our 1st team in a rugby fixture on Waste Court. A wonderful afternoon with all pupils, staff and families celebrating the day in style with a post match BBQ in the evening sun.
We wish Craighouse a wonderful last few days in England before heading back home. The whole experience was a very positive one. A big thank you to all our families who went to so much trouble to host the Chileans and we very much look forward to the reciprocal hosting next summer. It was lovely to set the tone for the return leg when we go on tour next August.
