Fourth Year Exam Results

We apologies for the technical glitch that prevented some parents downloading Fourth Year exam results last week.  These should now be available via the portal.

Reports

Each year group has just one reporting session this term and these will be available at the end of term.  No report is published before half term, which is a change from how we have done things in the past when Fifth Year valedictory reports were published at this point in the term.

Parents of Lower Sixth boys: UCAS2

A reminder that UCAS2 takes place on Friday 12 June 2015 starting at 5.30pm. Boys will receive further details about arrangements when they return on Wednesday 3 June.

Collecting Statements of Results

The School will be open for collection of statements of results on the following days:

A/AS results: Thursday 13 August – CMR
GCSE results: Thursday 20 August – CMR

The doors will open at 8.30 am and results will be available until 11am. A number of members of staff will be present to offer congratulations and advice if needed. Any results slips not collected on results day will be sent out first class post that evening. For A Level candidates needing post-results services urgently and for requests of photocopied scripts (AS and A2 only), the Exams Office will be available to deal with these issues. Candidates should bring a cheque-book with them when ordering any of these services. All other post-results services will be dealt with at the beginning of the Michaelmas term. A sheet explaining the post-results services available will be included in the pack provided.

Candidates who are going to be on holiday when results are issued may leave an email address with the Exams Office. This must be arranged before the end of the summer term by emailing [email protected]. Please include any other email addresses you would like the results sent to. Candidates on holiday in the UK only, may phone in for results if they wish, but should be aware that the lines are going to be very busy.

01235 849035 Exams Office

Candidates requiring visa letters for proof of results to gain entry back into the UK must arrange this with the exams office before the end of the summer term.

Abingdon School Box Office – Raw Diva presents Once Upon a Dream, Saturday 30 May

Every year Raw Diva raises money for charity to support our local community and raise awareness for causes we believe in. This year we’re delighted to announce that we chose Blue Skye Thinking. Based in Abingdon, local charity Blue Skye Thinking supports research so that all children diagnosed with brain tumours will have a better chance of survival and a better quality of life post-treatment.  The Charity is run by volunteers and all money donated goes directly to the forefront of Research and Treatment. You may well recognise the charity for their Loom to the Moon mission; something that Skye himself created and championed.  Please come and watch us perform our show at the Amey Theatre and support the Divas.

Sports Coaching Summer Camps

We will again be running sports camps suring the summer holiday for rugby and multi sports. Further information and online booking is available on the website.  Places are limited, so we would advise parents to book early.
