Thursday 27 May: 6.00 - 8.00 pm - Art Centre and Design Technology
All are welcome to the Art and Design and Technology Exhibitions. Ambitious sculpture, painting, printmaking and graphic design by this year's Upper 6th and 5th form artists and designers will be on display throughout the Arts Centre. Practical pieces of work produced by GCSE and A-Level pupils will be on display in the refurbished and expanded Design and Technology. Projects include contemporary furniture, sports equipment and a variety of imaginative pieces of product design.
Travel Disruption
With the continuing but reducing threat to travel disruption over half-term due to atmospheric volcanic ash, we recommend that exam candidates should not fly long haul if there is a risk they may not be back in time for exams after half-term. Exam boards have said that they will not be able to make special dispensation for anyone who may be stranded.
