Departure of Alun Watkins and Will Phelps: barbecue on Sunday 27 June, 4.30 - 6.30 pm, Waste Court Field
Parents are invited to join the barbecue, organised by the OA Club, on Sunday 27 June, 4.30 pm - 6.30 pm on Waste Court Field.
The event is part of the Abingdon School Twenty20 Cricket Tournament in which teams of OAs, current pupils, parents and Common Room compete for the Gerald Smithson Memorial Trophy. The first matches will be played at 10.00 am and refreshments will be available throughout the day.
Alun Watkins and Will Phelps will be at the barbeque, which provides a suitable opportunity for parents and OAs, of all vintages, to say farewell to them after their 21 and 12 years at Abingdon. I know they are looking forward to meeting those who can be there.
Tickets are free and can be booked online at the OA web site. Obviously we need to know numbers for catering. Enquiries to alumni@abingdon.org.uk, 01235 849074.
