Visit to Roman Aquae Sulis at Bath

23 March 2011

The second year travelled to Bath today to learn more about the Roman site of Aquae Sulis. They spent time finding out why Romans from all over the Empire came to Bath to visit the healing waters and saw many of the artifacts that had been thrown into the sacred spring as offerings - including some gory curse tablets. Some of the boys were even brave enough to drink the spring water - not all enjoyed the experience!
