Two OA’s represent England in Hockey

24 July 2012

It was a proud moment for two OAs and their parents, when Toby Roche (2006) and Chris Newman (2008) took to the hockey pitch to represent England A against Wales at Lilleshall. Both players acquitted themselves extremely well in a convincing 5-0 victory. To see former pupils going on to play at this level, is extremely satisfying. Both Toby and Chris returned to represent the OAs in the hockey match against the 1st XI in March earlier this year. This is a great achievement by these two young players. Toby plays his hockey for Premiership Club Hampstead & Westminster, whilst Chris is closer to home at Reading HC. We congratulate Toby and Chris on their achievements.
