Interested in Weekly Boarding at your Senior School?

If so do come to our Boarding Taster.

The taster programme will include activities such as a history mystery, an engineering challenge and our maths roadshow. In the evening there will be a barbeque and recreational sport.

The programme will be similar in format to last year's as shown below.

Monday  
2.00pm Arrival reception. Meeting with Mr Aitken, Head of Boarding, Housemaster of School House and Housemaster of School House - boys to be shown rooms by House prefects.
2.15 - 3.15pm Cooking and crepes in French in School House kitchen.
3.20 - 3.40pm Computers and the Divine Being in the Greening Wing.
3.40 - 4.00pm Tea in School House Games Room.
4.00 - 7.00pm Sailing - Parental consent form required.
7.15 - 7.45pm Supper in Dining Hall.
8.00 - 8.45pm Football or ultimate Frisbee (sports assistants).
9.15 - 9.30pm

Lights out.

   
Tuesday  
7.30am Breakfast in Dining Hall.
9.00 - 9.35am Music compositions and ICT in Music School.
9.40 - 10.15am Geography of Football in Geography Department.
10.20-10.55am English “How to write badly!” in English Department.
10.55 - 11.20am Break in School House Games room.
11.20 - 12.30pm Crazy Chemistry in S19.
12 noon Question and answer session for parents in School House Games Room with the Boarding Housemasters.
12.30pm Buffet lunch in Avernus.
1.15pm End of Taster Day.
