Tanzania Study Trip

Biology Study Trip
Northern Tanzania

19 - 28 October 2007

During the October half term, nineteen boys and three staff went on a ten day trip to Northern Tanzania. During the week we observed a large variety of wildlife when we visited the National Parks of Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti and Tarangire. We also vitisted the Maasai village in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the Ol Dupai Gorge where Mary and Louis Leakey discovered fossil materials that gave an insight into man's evolution. This was an excellent opportunity to observe some of the most incredible ecosystems on Earth as well as experiencing the very different culture found in Tanzania.
