Customer Charter and Values
Abingdon Sport and Leisure has established a Customer Charter which outlines the service that all our customers can expect to receive from us. Integral to these are our six core values which are our guiding principles and which dictate the behaviour of every member of staff.

Sports Centre
The sports hall accommodates multi-sport activities, including badminton, netball and basketball and has space for four cricket lanes. There are two squash courts, a gym, a climbing wall and a large multi-purpose studio, as well as an eight lane indoor swimming pool. We also offer indoor birthday parties.

Tilsley Park
Tilsley Park offers some of the best sports facilities in the area for American football, rugby, athletics, hockey and football, with all-weather pitches – including a new 3G surface – and a throws area. The facilities are very popular with local clubs and organisations.
We set out to make Tilsley Park a centre of excellence and a premier sporting venue for the community, and these facilities certainly achieve this aim. The 4G pitch is certified by the RFU, RFL and FA, and complements the two existing full-size ATP hockey pitches, offering all-year-round, high-quality floodlit sports facilities.

Amey Theatre
Our stunning Amey Theatre sits at the heart of Abingdon School’s Arts Centre and comprises a 446 seat auditorium with fully raked seating and balcony. The area is versatile and can be adapted to a wide range of uses. The theatre is equipped with modern stage lighting, sound facilities and a large projection screen.
Our projector and large projection screen is accompanied by 7.1 surround sound and a satellite link, which have been installed to enable the theatre to be used as a cinema to screen, for example, National Theatre productions and popular film screenings. Supporting the main auditorium is a range of spaces including conservatory style foyer, box office and the usual audience facilities. The Amey theatre is an important part of our leisure offering and a great asset to the wider community.
