Sandwiched between two very rainy days, the morning of the Sponsored Walk dawned bright and dry for yet another year. Staff and boys walked, ran or rowed the 10 miles from Dorchester-on-Thames back to Abingdon, hoping to raise some £30,000 for four Charities – Helen and Douglas House (the Children’s Hospice and respite centre in Oxford), Agape (working with poor children in Moldova), Merlin (the international medical relief organisation) and the Pegasus Theatre Added Extra project (working with disadvantaged children in Oxford).
