A Third Year Religious Studies set enjoyed a splendid visit to the recently refurbished Ashmolean Museum in Oxford.
With inspiring lectures the boys studied ten works of art that relate to themes of their GCSE RS course, including paintings by Uccello, Michelangelo, Van Dyck and Holman Hunt, whose large painting, A Converted British Family Sheltering a Christian Priest from the Persecution of the Druids, was a particular favourite.
