Pupils in Year 8 enjoyed a successful Bushcraft trip to Dorset last week. Aided by sunny, warm and dry conditions they took part in a range of outdoor activities, from team building and adventurous outdoor pursuits to more academic studies connected to their history and geography curricula.

The highlights included kayaking along the River Frome around Wareham, having a guided tour of Corfe Castle with our ever informative guide, Miranda, fishing off Swanage Pier, swimming and enjoying beach activities on Studland Beach.

The pupils were extremely cooperative and, yes you read this right, organised their tents competently and slept right through until breakfast! The Bushcraft Company provided excellent leaders and great food. Well done to all involved for a successful trip.
