Year 4 has been studying the features of a Christian church in RE. To support their work in class, the boys visited a local church in Abingdon to see what happens in a church and to learn more about the ceremonies of baptism and Holy Communion.

The boys were told all about baptism and Holy Communion and asked lots of questions about why these take place and what happens. They were also given a talk by a local historian about the colourful history of the church, which was previously a tithe barn, before completing questions on the church.

A great morning was had by the boys and they learnt huge amounts about churches furthermore they were able to see first-hand the work covered in lessons.
