On Tuesday the Year 4s were involved in a highly competitive afternoon of rugby house matches. In the first round of matches Phoenix narrowly overcame a very determined Unicorn while Dragon won convincingly by 8 tries to 1 against Griffin.

The second round of matches were very close affairs with Phoenix beating Dragon in the dying seconds of the match thanks to a score from Isaac. Oliver was however instrumental in their victory due to his outstanding cover tackles, keeping out the likes of Zachary and Alex who were potent throughout the competition.

In the final round, both Phoenix and Dragon managed to win, securing 1st and 2nd place in the competition.

The standard of rugby and commitment during the afternoon was very high and players such as Finn, Yumi, Oliver, Oll, Edward and Zac all impressed their coaches.

1st – Phoenix
2nd – Dragon
3rd – Unicorn
4th – Griffin
