An excited Year 3 went to the Ashmolean Museum to explore the exhibits on ancient Egypt. The tour enabled them to see the objects we had discussed in lessons and learn more about life and the beliefs of the ancient Egyptians. The children were allowed to hold some original artefacts including an axe, a mirror and a statue base. The favourite section had to be the mummies!
