Year 2 Art

Year 2 Art

13 January 2009

Lessons are full of exciting, purposeful and engaging activities, which capitalise on the immense enjoyment children experience when they are in a creative environment. Class teachers enrich the curriculum with further art activities throughout the week. We encourage the children to work independently, in pairs or small groups, as well as on large class projects. Topics include: Cities, Roman art, Animal patterns, Fabric work with tie-dye and collage, Exploring mark making, Printing and 3-D clay and sculpture. To see children having new experiences and producing pieces which they love to talk about and share with you, shows their enthusiasm for the subject.
