Year 1 enjoyed a busy and exciting day visiting the STEAM Museum in Swindon.

The boys have been learning about how transport has changed over time in their History lessons. They participated in a hands on workshop in which they explored different historical artifacts and tried to uncover their uses.

They found out about the early train makers and were very keen to discover more about George Stephenson and his famous Rocket. The boys were very lucky to be shown around the train engine room by a volunteer, and were able to visit carriages used by royalty. The boys deserve praise for the way they conducted themselves and their enthusiasm was superb!
