Congratulations to the finalists who took part in our Poetry Performance Competition on Monday: Leon, Michael, Nirmat, Dylan, George, Jack, William and Tommy.
We were delighted to welcome back Jon Gabitass to judge the competition and offer words of advice on the art of public speaking. The standard was exceptionally high this year, making it difficult to choose overall winners.
However, Nirmat's engaging recital of ‘The Night Before the Match’ by John Foster earned him the Middle School trophy, while George's outstanding performance of 'St Crispin's Day Speech' from Henry V, impressed the judges so much that he was awarded the Senior School trophy.
Congratulations to all our deserving finalists, and a special thank you to Jon Gabitass for inspiring the boys and helping to make the afternoon a memorable occasion.
