On Saturday, the Under 11A XI played Pinewood School. Pinewood won the toss and elected to bat.
The Prep's opening bowlers limited Pinewood to just 24 runs in the first six overs but a combination of loose bowling and indifferent fielding in the middle overs allowed Pinewood to accumulate 126 runs after 20 overs. There was a wicket apiece for Alfie, William, Henry and Tom.
An opening partnership of 52 runs between William and Luke got the Prep off to a great start.
Alfie chipped in with 15 quick runs supported by William who went on to score the School's first half century!
The Prep won the match by 7 wickets.
