The Under 11 D rugby team made the journey to Beachborough School. Abingdon Prep took an early lead with two tries coming from Toby. A few misplaced passes and mistimed tackles gave Beachborough an opportunity to score three tries following this and they took the lead at 3-2. However, two tries from Rory and Toby restored a one try lead, with Abingdon Prep leading 4-3 at the break. Multiple tries were scored in the second half from both sides, but Abingdon Prep improved their defensive game and managed to prevent the opposition from scoring on a number of occasions by tackling more effectively. After a number of tries from Rory, a few more from Toby and one from Arjun, Abingdon Prep ended up as the victors, winning the game by 12 tries to 8.
