Senior Choir is very excited and looking forward to the tour to Venice at the beginning of the Easter holidays. The boys are working very hard, with three rehearsals each week, in preparation. They will be performing in two churches: St George’s Anglican and Santa Maria dei Miracoli, with a mostly sacred programme including movements from Vivaldi’s Gloria and Faure’s Requiem. The Brass Group will also feature and there will be some solo items from William Crutchley, Alec Cooke, Timmy McConnachie-Kaye and Dominic Clarke.
The choir will also enjoy sightseeing around Venice, with a visit to St Mark’s Basilica and Doge's Palace as well as a boat trip and visiting a sealife centre.
