Music and Drama continue to be very much at the heart of school life with over half our pupils taking instrumental lessons.
We presently offer lessons on violin, cello, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, cornet, trumpet, trombone, euphonium, horn, tuba, drum kit, saxophone, clarinet, flute, recorder, mandolin and piano.
The past year has seen many boys taking Associated Board instrumental exams with a one hundred per cent pass rate, and a good proportion of instrumentalists play in school ensembles. These include the String Group, Wind Band, Jazz Band and Choir.
Instrumentalists and singers regularly attend both internal and external workshops.
