Under 13s
In his first Group, Abingdon Prep pupil, Todd, was drawn with the number 1 seed (who went on to win) and other highly seeded players. However he did win one match at this level and took another match to 4 games but unfortunately didn’t clinch this one to make it through to the knockout stage. He enjoyed the experience and now knows what he has to deal with next year.
Under 12s
Todd played really well and won his Group. He went through to the next knockout round which he won and then went through to the last 16. Todd is ranked 11th in the country so this was just where he hoped to get to. His opponent in this round was tough and despite much effort, Todd lost in the only match in this round to go to 5 games. An excellent performance.
