Kayaking

Pangbourne 08

2 July 2010

‘The best school trip ever’ was the general opinion of the class.

At the centre, on the Pangbourne water meadows, we started off with a safety lecture from our three instructors and then went out in our individual kayaks.

John reported that the quality of the kayaking was ‘a little down’ on last year; but the quality and frequency of falling into the water were ‘without parallel!’

We attempted some skills training and team building exercises – with mixed results. Team building = strong, Skills = weak. However, the trip was great and I hope 8J get to go again next year.
