On Tuesday, we had the pleasure of listening to seven talented vocalists in the House Music Singers' Final. Our Director of Music, Debbie Rose, kindly donated the Debbie Rose Trophy, to encourage and recognise the school's many talented vocalists.
We heard a diverse selection of songs by artists including Lionel Bart, Ed Sheeran, and Bart Howard. All of the soloists gave impressive, polished performances.
In particular, Charlie, our runner up, gave a beautiful rendition of the traditional lullaby: Dalmatian Cradle Song; and Rupert, who won first place, was awarded the Debbie Rose Trophy for his superb performance of Comedy Tonight by Stephen Sondheim.
