The going was good today as Pre-Prep set off, under starters orders for their Hobby Horse Derby. The jockeys rode well, holding back in the corners and letting the reins go on the straight. In the ring before the race, the jockeys paraded as they were judged under several important categories; Best in show, Best all-rounder, Horse most like its owner and Craziest mane. The commentator, Simon Littlewood was on hand to judge each category and rosettes and trophies were awarded amidst much cheering and applause.
A huge well done and thank you to all of the families who entered this charity event to raise money for Riding for the Disabled.
