Today three pupils from Abingdon Prep took part in the 'Let's Debate' debating competition, run annually by Oratory School. After some morning workshops on voice projection and how to structure an argument, the motion they were asked to propose was: “This House believes that the government should access to our e-mails and phones.” Despite the complexity of this issue, Ted, Robin and Joshua performed particularly well, earning fourth place overall, with Robin earning a medal for the most outstanding individual performance on the day. Well done to those who took part.
