It seems that the annual inter house cross-country has become synonymous with weather not for the faint of heart. This year was no exception as the gusting wind and temperatures a few degrees above zero made for very testing conditions.
This did not seem to dampen the spirits of the competitors however and the first race for the Under 9's was comfortably won by a smiling Henry Insley. The Under 11 event was a really close run affair with the winner, John Corran, only marginally taking the honours. A truly impressive effort by Will Bull saw him win the Under 13 event which sadly brings to an end a long line of winners, over the years, from the Bull family.
